Entombed has a number of conditions and spell effects that can help or hinder you in battle. Use this knowledge to your advantage!
Berserk: The negative berserk condition causes characters to relentlessly attack. Their physical attacks deal more damage, but they're also more vulnerable to attacks. A berserk character cannot be controlled by the player.
Confusion: Confusion causes the character to mix up friend and foe on occasion.
Curse: Curse causes a character to attack with minimum damage and take maximum damage when struck.
Grapple: A character grappled has a chance to miss their turn and is much easier to strike.
Hidden: Hidden characters can't normally be targeted. Hide fades when they take damage or use an action.
Paralyze: A paralyzed character misses their turn and is much easier to strike.
Petrify: A character under petrification will turn to stone in a few turns. Win the battle quickly or use a Cure Petrification Potion.
Poison: A poisoned character will continually take damage for a while. Limbs that are poisoned will fall off if they take too much damage.
Regeneration: Characters regenerating restore a small percentage of their maximum health per turn.
Silence: Silenced characters cannot cast spells.
Sleep: Sleeping characters miss their turn but will wake if they're attacked.
Slow: Slowed characters take longer to recover from actions in battle.
Haste: Hasted characters take less time between turns in battle.
Web: Webbed characters have a high chance to miss their turn and are much easier to strike.
Zombie Rot: Zombie Rot slowly causes the character's skin to fall away. Limbs affected will drop off. Zombie Rot never goes away on its own.
Charm: A charmed character will always attack their friends and aid their foes.
Monk Focus: A monk focusing increases their evasion as well as allowing them compound abilities.
Focus: The spell version of focus greatly increases a character's accuracy.
Grow: Grow causes the target to grow to twice their size. A large character takes less physical damage.
Shrink: Shrink causes the target to shrink to half their size. Smaller characters are harder to strike, but also have difficulty wielding large weapons and take more damage.
Polymorph: A polymorphed character has taken on an entirely different shape. The effects are usually temporary.
Unstable Form: A character afflicted with Unstable Form will randomly shape change into another form.
